New Pool Maintenance

 
For the first 2 weeks you must take special care of the pool:
 
Brush your pool daily after the start-up chemicals have been added.   This is to keep any sediment from sticking to the fresh exposed aggregate or marcite and staining it.  As the water clears, you will notice gray and white shading in the marcite.  This is normal!  It is caused by the marble and cement that are mixed together to produce the finish.
 
Test the water daily for PH & Chlorine levels.  For these first 2 weeks, Chlorine levels should be kept above 1.5 and PH between 7.6 and 7.8.
 
Run your pump and filter a minimum of 12 hours per day.  If your have a Hayward EC filter, regenerate it daily.  Just follow the regeneration directions on the top of the filter casing.
